Do you want to understand others better? Your client, customer or patient, for example? The non-verbal communication, including body language, shows what someone genuinely feels and thinks. It is an unfiltered translation of what is going on inside someone. What that person then says is a selection of those feelings and thoughts. By looking at the body language, you have another source of information in addition to the information someone gives through what he/she says. The non-verbal information mainly concerns the emotional, relational and personal aspects. For example, what the other person thinks of your proposal, whether the other person understands what you are saying and whether there is resistance.
When you can also extract information from the non-verbal signals of your conversation partner, you get a more complete picture of the perception of the other person, so that you can often get to the core more quickly together. Even if the other person does not say this out loud or is not yet able to express it.
Our motto is: you really listen well with your ears and eyes. “Listening with your eyes”, i.e. looking at body language, can become as natural a skill as listening with your ears to what someone is saying. In fact, we are all born with that ability. It is only later in life that you learn the skill of interpreting words and speaking. So your brain already has the capacity to do this. But usually training is needed to refresh it and supplement it with knowledge, so that you can verify things like your gut feeling.
Do you want to learn more about body language and apply it in practice?
Then the Body Language Professional training is probably right for you. This is an interactive, two-day training in which you learn to read body language based on scientific insights. In addition, you also gain insight into your own body language and its influence on your appearance and on others. After the training, your knowledge of non-verbal signals is supplemented and your brain is trained again to be able to get started in practice.
